Well, our time is almost up in Scotland and the UK. Tomorrow we leave Newcastle Upon Tyne on an overnight ferry journey that will have us entering Amsterdam the following morning, car and all. It costs $377 which includes ferrying our auto and a two-bed above sea-level cabin with an ocean view. It also includes a full evening buffet and a breakfast before steaming into Amsterdam. This is a much better deal than the one we chose to come to the UK. It will also allow me to wind down after driving on the left for quite some time. That can be quite nerve racking! It’s not so bad though, once you get used to it.

I’ve really enjoyed being with these people, seeing their customs, eating their food, and traveling through their beautiful countryside. It is a memory that I will always cherish.
