Today is my six year anniversary for living sober. Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s been that long since I walked into the treatment center. That’s the best thing I’ve ever done in my life, well except for accepting Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I’m thankful to everyone that helped me stay clean. It has been a wild ride! I still think of the times I had partying. I had some good times! But, the bad ones that go along with it far outweigh the good ones. So, I had to get to a treatment center before I heard that I didn’t have to get high today. Not today, or anyday. I don’t ever have to get high again in my life – as long as I live. And that’s a good thing! Thank you Father in Heaven for six years of sobriety. Thank you for Your mercy, grace, and love. Thank you for showing that indescribable love through Jesus Christ – Amen.
