D, I only knew you for a brief time. But what I do know of you is that you were a charming person. I’m sorry that your life ended at such a young age – 19. I wish I would’ve said something to you that day when I saw a look of desperation. But, I didn’t, and for that I am sorry. I can only hope that you knew the Lord Jesus before your life ended. If so, you are in a much better place my friend. I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort your mother through this sad time. Amen.

    Can you provide more information about Davonte’s accident or email me where I can find it (your’s is the only site that listed anything about his passing). My husband and I coached him in Germany and are trying to sort out what happened. It’s truly a tragic situation and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. The Mannheim Community and folks around the world were touched by “Cookie” and his bright light. Thank you for the information and many blessings to you and yours, in His name.

    I am so sad that this happened I also just met Davonte and yet he made a large impression on me. He was such a nice bright person its a big loss to have him leave this earth. I am with my thoughts with him and his Mother …
